1. What are cookies?
"Cookies" are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Websites can also store information using browser local-storage technologies (localStorage and sessionStorage). In this policy, "cookies" refers to any of these technologies.
2. Why we use cookies
We use a very small number of cookies — only to make the website work, keep it secure, and remember your cookie choice. We do not currently use any analytics or marketing cookies.
3. Cookie categories
Essential cookies
Required for the website to operate, for security, and to remember your cookie choice. They cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
Accessibility / Functional
The accessibility widget (UserWay) remembers your accessibility preferences. It is loaded to keep the site accessible to all users, based on the legitimate interest in accessibility.
Analytics
Cookies that measure website usage (such as Google Analytics). We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add them in the future, they will load only after you give explicit consent.
Marketing
Cookies for advertising, remarketing and campaign measurement (such as Meta Pixel). We do not currently use marketing cookies. If we add them in the future, they will load only after you give explicit consent.
4. Cookies actually in use
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration | Loaded before consent? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
cookie_consent(localStorage) |
Invoice Finder | Essential | Stores your cookie choice and the policy version | Until you change it or clear your browser storage | Stored only after you choose |
__cf_bm and similar security cookies |
Cloudflare (hosting/security) | Essential | Protects the site from bots and abuse and keeps it stable | Up to ~30 minutes | Yes (strictly necessary for security) |
| Accessibility preference storage | UserWay | Accessibility / Functional | Remembers the accessibility preferences you set in the widget | Per UserWay's policy | Yes (for accessibility) |
In addition, the site loads external resources that do not set cookies but do receive your IP address in order to deliver content: Google Fonts (fonts) and the AOS animation library (via unpkg). These are functional resources and are not used for tracking.
5. The payment page
Payment is processed on a secure page hosted by our payment provider, Tranzila. Any cookies set on that page are governed by Tranzila's own privacy and cookie policy and are not controlled by us.
6. How to manage or change your preferences
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the link in the footer of every page on this site.
You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
7. What happens if you block cookies?
Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site — for example, your cookie choice may not be saved, or security features may not work properly. Because we do not use analytics or marketing cookies, blocking those has no effect on your browsing experience.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if we add new tools or change how we use cookies, and we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. For questions, contact support@invoice-finder.com.
